Creating a productive learning environment
Ramapo Training has worked extensively with New York City public and private schools to provide staff with practical techniques for handling students' disruptive, angry, or aggressive behavior. Through interactive, skill-building workshops and follow-up coaching, Ramapo provides new and veteran school professionals with a broader array of classroom management skills for establishing productive learning environments.
Workshops
Ramapo Training speaks directly to educators' experiences and provides tools and techniques for building teacher capacity. Our workshops are tailored to the specific needs of teachers, school support staff, and the specific population of students with whom they work. Ramapo's behavior management workshops help staff to develop a common language, increase consistency in behavior management policies, and significantly decrease discipline referrals.
On-going Coaching
Coaching is an integral part of the Ramapo Training behavior management program. Through coaching, our trainers provide teachers with on-going strategies, resources and practical solutions needed to improve their classroom management skills and create a productive learning environment. Ramapo Training's on-going coaching provides individuals and small groups of school staff:
